Youme Returns After 4 Years, and Brings Everyone to Tears

One of my favorites, Youme, performed on the latest episode of KBS “Immortal Song 2,” and brought down the house, and left everyone looking for tissues with her cover of Uhm Jung Hwa’s “Betrayal of Roses,” during which she burst into tears.

I love Youme’s voice, but I heard one song from he r, and never heard from her again. This is the first time I’ve seen her in years, and can I say, she is still blowing my mind.

She shared with the audience her reason for being emotional:

“After I got a request to appear on ‘Immortal Song 2′, I was so surprised that I asked my manager over and over again (if it was true). This is a stage I wanted to stand on again even in my dreams. Even though I could not stand on stage until now, I always sang. I trained many students as a vocal trainer, and I never let my ties with music go. It felt a bit strange to sing live in front of a large crowd with a live band.”
