Here Come Some Rookie Girls… Oh Dear

I’m really scared of these two rookie girl groups.

Bikiny is ready for a summer Fiesta way ahead of schedule and I’m not really looking forward to it.

First of all, there’s no fiesta. Where are the Salsa music and the ice cold cervezas? Second, theres so much aegyo gone terribly wrong that my brain can’t process it. I’ve seen grown men do aegyo better than these girls. I’m looking at you Joo Won! I digressed, my bad. Going back to the summer girls. So at the end of the MV it says it’s their 2nd single? Where’s the 1st one? I did some digging around and here it is.

Anyone remember that? I sure as hell didn’t?

Moving along and not necessarily for the better.

We have Youai who keep telling us I Got A Boy. BUT, BUT…. isn’t that the title for SNSD‘s comeback? Wouldn’t that alone cause problems? In the US this would qualify as a “lawsuit waiting to happen.”

The beginning reminded me of Vocaloid gone wrong. Then it flew head first right into a Para Para track. I’ll need to see an actual MV for this to see, but like Bikiny, I don’t see these girls getting very far either. UNLESS, the Para Para craze returns, then the song would be a hit. Or perhaps live off the karaoke royalties. That is, if SMTown doesn’t sue their a**es off for using the same title at the same time.

So far, in the rookie race, the boys are winning.
