Someone’s decided to be “funny” and sell fake Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour the Final tickets by pretending to be a YG Official and selling tickets at a higher price while stating that they would provide access to rehearsals and backstage.
A rep from YG Entertainment said, “Investigations are underway regarding the sales of fake Big Bang concert tickets. Since the second round of ticket sales are set to start on January 2, the actual tickets haven′t been printed yet. It is impossible to sell actual printed tickets at this point, so we hope fans are aware of this.”
Milagros steps on soapbox:
I understand the desperation fans feel at trying to get tickets for a Big Bang concert. I went through an anxious few months from the announcement of the tour going international to the announcement of the USA dates to the actual selling date. Believe me, I’ve never worked my computer as fast as I did that September morning. But, I was also preparing myself for the possibility of not getting my tickets. I’d have cried, but I’d have been OK.
I would likely walk barefoot through a hallway filled with hot coals and nails while covered with spiders (I’m a real arachnophobe, btw) to get tickets to see them again, but I would never fall for a non-official seller. Even if they were successful in making themselves appear as being from YG, they were selling tickets prior to the actual sales date at ridiculously high prices. YG can afford to not do a pre-sale for Big Bang. They sell out in minutes. Really. Also, the perks should’ve been a red flag as well. VIP tickets here (and I’m assuming many other places around the world where the venues were smaller i.e. around 10,000 fans) you got a goodie bag and sound check access for the higher price. But seriously, would YG allow entrance to the actual rehearsals and *gasp* backstage? I don’t think so.
Now those poor souls are without tickets and likely without being able to go to the concert if they can’t get the real tickets on January 2. Especially if they are sadly unable to spring for the real tickets while they get their money back from the fake ones (let’s be real here, IF they ever get that back). I wish them luck even if I do think they were naive for falling for that mean trick.
