So I Finally Got Around to Watching TVXQ’s “Humanoids” MV… and…

I, surprisingly enough, actually like it! The bane of the entire thing? The chorus. That chorus… is just… well it’s just plain awful. The rest of the track is nice and slick and then the chorus is a big ole mess.

The choreo is waaayyyyy better than Catch Me. Thank god. And the boys look really nice! Especially in the shots where their hair is up and off their faces (see above photo). Handsome DBSK is handsome.

Honestly, the video is very cookie-cutter (in the scope of current k-pop, specifically current SM artists), but it’s executed well and is pleasing to my eyeballs. And, isn’t all pop music kind of the same anyway? I still eat that shit up because I’m a hopeless fangirl. And Yunho and Changmin are seasoned pros who know how to werk it. It is their job after all.
