B.A.P. Releases Shortest Album Yet with “Stop It”

B.A.P. has had their NeverLeft with the release of their newest, and shortest, album: Stop It. Now, most fans were actually going crazy after the release for two reasons. 1- They all thought it was amazing and were dying of feels and 2- TS was supposed to release a MV and didn’t. Well, they didn’t until a little while later. Now while I can understand number 2, number 1? I’m not quite there with them.

I absolutely love B.A.P. They were different, catchy, and weren’t trying to fit into the average boyband mold. Until these past two releases with Crash and now Stop It. While both are good songs and albums, I could see them being performed by, well, just about any of the new groups this year. Probably not with the same amount of panache since no other group has this same group of talented boys, but it could be performed by many others.

The Stop It album contains three songs: Yes Sir, the minute and a half long intro, Stop It, the title track, and Happy Birthday, the ballad. I was expecting something more hip hop, but apparently they weren’t going for a hiphop look. Could have fooled me, especially after that teaser they released. But take a listen for yourself first. You can actually find all three songs here. I have to say that while the Stop It MV gives me feels, none of the songs, including Stop It, hit me hard when I first heard them. I’m going to continue to give them a chance since I don’t hate them, but I of don’t except this to be my favorite group of songs.

Thanks for rating this! Now tell the world how you feel –
(Nah, it’s cool; just take me back.)

I don’t know what this group is doing with their music anymore. Their identity as a group gets watered down with every single comeback and even though the members are supposedly involved in the production process there really is a lack of vision of what they want to achieve with their music (compared to their first mini). This is really one last rushed attempt at promotions just before the voting for awards starts. If they could have refrained from coming back every other month they could have ended this round of promotions with a bang :/

They just came out this year and their gonna hit some bumps on the road but I think they’ll get back on their feet.
