SS501‘s Kim Hyung Jun is upset and ever so politely warns his juniors to show some respect.
He wrote on his twitter,
“Nowadays, I have noticed sly juniors to avoid greeting their seniors properly. Please don’t get caught in front of me.”
People speculate that he probably experienced an unpleasant incident in the broadcasting building where he DJ’s SBS‘s Kim Hyung Jun’s Music High.
In Korean culture, as well as others in Asia, it is very important to greet and show respect to those older than you and seniors (those who have been working longer) in the industry field where you work.
Netizens commented, “I’m curious to know whether it’s a boy or a girl,” “He must be very upset, to even share a post as this,” and “You should just state their names.”
Milagros opines: Greeting others (older or not) with respect should be basic good manners no matter what culture you’re in. What do you think?
