FASHION SMACKDOWN: Actress Bae Doo Na’s Bra Plays Peek-A-Boo @ TIFF

 

On September 8th 2012 actress Bae Doo Na attended the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) for the premiere of her Hollywood movie, “Cloud Atlas.” In the movie she plays the part of clone, Sonmi-451, and appears next to some of Hollywood’s biggest names Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Tom Hanks, and Susan Sarandon.

For the movie premiere the actress donned an an off white hand bag, bronze heeled sandals, and off white jump suit with a plunging neck. I have nothing against a plunging neckline, and could actually look good on her because of her small chest, but still this whole outfit was…wrong!

Bae Doo Na is hot stuff, she is always in magazine spreads, and she always looks tall, and thin, and sexy, but this was a HUGE miss. First, why, why, WHY did she wear a bra?! Her bra looks like a bikini top, but I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt on that one. Second, the jump suit actually makes her look super short, the waist is too low. Third, the color of the jumpsuit washes her out, and just doesn’t look good with her skin tone. Fourth, the top of the jumpsuit is baggy, it needs to be pulled in more.

This is her attempt to start working in Hollywood, and she should look the part of a Hollywood actress. That means no playing peek-a-boo with bras, and being fashion forward to some extent.

Corrections:

1. In past magazine spreads purple, green, and blue look beautiful on her. She should go with those colors.

2. Tailoring the top of her jumpsuit to make it more fitted would have helped this look.

3. Bringing that neckline up!!!! >_<

4. Defining her waist two inches higher will make her legs look like they start higher up, creating the illusion that she is taller.
