Yeo Jin Goo Returns to Dramaland in “I Miss You”

After a 6 month well deserved break, actor Yeo Jin Goo is coming back to dramaland. His performance as the teenage King Lee Hwon in MBC‘s The Moon that Embraces the Sun garnered him all sorts of fantastic reviews.

Now, he’s been cast in the drama I Miss You that will air on MBC after Arang and the Magistrate finishes. Yeo Jin Goo will play the younger version of the main male character. There is no confirmation on the adult version of the character yet, although there is speculation that it might be JYJ‘s Park Yoo Chun.

I’ve seen him in many of the dramas and movies he’s been in, but he really impressed me in Giant, in which he played a teenager Kang Mo (character played by Lee Bum Soo as an adult). I was hooked. He was fantastic as the young version of Baek Dong Soo in Warrior Baek Dong Soo. Yeo Jin Goo, along with the rest of the child casts in many of the recent dramas, are setting a very high standard for the adults to follow up. This kid is going to go places and he already has the makings of a noona-killer.

If you haven’t seen him in action, I recommend any of the dramas previously mentioned. Not only because he’s in the early stages of the story, but because they are indeed good dramas. However, you must plan and be ready and willing to spend some time with them. Giant has 60 episodes. Warrior Baek Dong Soo has 29. The Moon that Embraces the Sun has 20.

Are you excited to see Jin Goo return to the silverscreen?  As for me, I can’t wait to see him again!
