Get Your Feels On: Watch SHINee’s Performance at Mezamashi Live in Japan

While we (sort of) patiently wait for “Dazzling Girl” to be released, let’s check out what those shining SHINee boys have been up to recently in Japan.

On August 16, SHINee performed at Mezamashi Live in Odaiba, Japan and some good video of this 30 minute performance was finally uploaded to Youtube today.  They performed the Japanese versions of “Lucifer“, “Amigo“, “Stranger“, “Juliette“, “Start“, and a particularly energetic “Sherlock” (I’m looking at you, Jonghyun).  There’s also a good bit of talking and being silly in between songs.

In case you were wondering, Mezamashi Live is a Japanese festival concert hosted by Fuji TV.

One of my favorite parts of this performance was getting to see really good film of them singing, and yes, they’re singing over that backing track.  You can always tell by looking at Onew and paying attention to Jonghyun’s neck veins.  This concert had some good cameramen, imho.  I also like seeing the new distribution of lines in older songs, now that Taemin and Minho can actually sing well.  What did you like about it?

We’ll be sure to post an English sub version of this video when we find one so stay tuned.
