Dong Hyunbae joins cast of ‘Alumni’

Recent Korean news sources have stated that Dong Hyunbae will be joining the cast of Alumni as a member of a rival school gang, which is called an iljin. Dong Hyunbae is none other than Dong Yongbae’s (aka Taeyang’s) older brother. I can see the resemblence!

Hyunbae has been in only a few productions since debuting as an actor in 2010 and it wasn’t until this year his most recent drama Holy Land, a Korean Drama about a homeless boy/man who takes up boxing, was released that he received Top Cast credit. Still no word on how large of a part this will be, but at least we know the cast is being fleshed out! Which is good, since they've been filming for two weeks and have only 6 to 8 weeks left to film. Can't wait to hear and see more about this film!
