Niki Recaps: Inkigayo (07.22.12)

Inkigayo, I love you, but sometimes you flub stuff up, you know that? Tsk tsk.

First, obviously something is wrong with your stage. Two, count them TWO different idols fell during the show. Then you had that silly camera flub during After School‘s performance. We really don’t want to see the other camera, so come on now guys! Get it together! But this week’s Inkigayo featured a new rookie group debut, two comebacks, as well as performances by Gangkiz, M.I.B., Super Junior, A-JAX, ZE:A, and Sistar, to name just a few groups.

Debut: GLAM

GLAM debuted with their short intro GLAMOUROUS and their debut song PARTY. All I can say is: YES! Yes yes YES! You girls are the type of girl group I have been waiting for this year! The “extra singer”, aka SeeU created by Vocaloid and voiced by one of the GLAM girls, was a little weird but also so cool! I am so excited for this rookie group guys. Words cannot express my excitement.

Comebacks:

NS Yoon-G had her comeback performance with Neol Jabasseo (널 잡았어), which translates to I Got You, and seems like a sexy song, but if you look at the lyrics? Reminds me of GD’s Obsession. Definitely going to give this song another chance and watch the MV later.

B.A.P came back (for the third time this year, good lord) with a slightly slower, but still powerful song, No Mercy. I don’t know how I feel about two come backs in one year, but I think I like this song as well. Oh, and I think these guys are trying to win the trophy “Most Hairstyles in 1 year”. Just saying.

Highlights-
C-Clown – Oof. These boys did not impress me. Sorry guys. I still haven’t seen their debut mv, so maybe I jsut saw a bad performance but… ugh.

NU’EST – BOYS! Action once again sounded and looked so amazing… until the dance break. Again. Maybe you should think of just skipping that part? Also- Aron, dear, be careful. No slipping and hurting yourself! I was thinking it might be because of too many activities, or stress, or sleep deprevation or something, until the next accident happened. Then I started to wonder…
 

After School- I like their song Flashback more with these outfits. Good wardrobe change girls! Still not my favorite. Also, I am sorry that Inkigayo messed up our watching you with that little “oopsie” with the cameras. Don’t worry, we still enjoyed it. Mostly.
 

T-ara – I’ll admit it. They are not my favorite group, but the song is okay. Not bad, but not good, just okay. I’ll also admit that my breath caught when I saw one of the girls, Hyomin, had fallen. I am so, so glad that she was able to get back up and continue on. Hyomin, I really hope you didn’t hurt anything!

2NE1 – Girls, I love you so very much, but this was not your best performance. I think mainly it was just too quiet in a few parts, especially the beginning. Oh, and Dara’s hair kept distracting me. Too much yellow sweetie. Just saying. Love the cut, just not the color.
 

Psy – OH MY GOD WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE?!?! Now I am going to venture onto the interwebs to familiarize myself with this man. I shall be back later!
